Helping Hands Ambulance Service aims to provide free transportation for underprivileged patients and deceased individuals, ensuring financial constraints do not limit essential care. They support poor families, tribal communities, and crisis situations, even over long distances.

Providing free ambulance support for the underprivileged

Helping Hands launched its Ambulance Service during the early days of its charitable activities in and around Kozhikode Medical College. The initiative was started to support poor patients and tribal communities who struggle to afford transportation after being discharged. Many families, especially those from remote areas, also face difficulties in transporting deceased loved ones due to financial constraints.

Going the extra mile – Up to 3000 KM

To bridge this gap, Helping Hands provides completely free ambulance services, ensuring that both patients and deceased individuals reach their homes safely. In some cases, the ambulance has traveled up to 3000 km, covering long distances across different states to provide this essential service.

Stepping up in times of crisis

During the COVID-19 pandemic and the Nipah virus outbreak, when fear and restrictions prevented many from offering help, Helping Hands continued its mission without hesitation. Their selfless service was widely recognized by the government, appreciating their invaluable support during challenging times.
