ROOF -Sanitation and Shelters for Poor

Hope for the poorest of the poor citizens. ROOF another programme of Helping Hands Charity Trust had constructed more than six hundred toilets in the coastal area and fifteen full fledged house.

At ROOF Project, our commitment to creating safe spaces and enhancing sanitation is unwavering. With a history of completing over 500+ toilets and delivering one toilet every week, along with nearly 13 homes, we take pride in our accomplishments. Our focus remains on empowering communities by providing not just shelter but also essential sanitation facilities

Even today, many families in Kerala do not have toilets at home. People resort to open defecation on streets, seashores, plastic covers, and canals. Witnessing this situation led to the launch of the Free Toilet Project.

So far, over 500 toilets and around 15 houses have been built and handed over to the poor across various districts of Kerala. The cost to construct one toilet is approximately ₹40,000.

With several ongoing projects, Roof is on a mission to fulfill the dream of providing a safe shelter and sanitation facilities for the needy.
