The Ambulance Service, started in the early days of Helping Hands, provides free transport for poor and tribal patients around Kozhikode Medical College, including taking deceased patients home when families cannot afford it. At times, the team travels up to 3,000 km to ensure every family receives dignified support.
The Ambulance Service, started in the early days of Helping Hands, provides free transport for poor and tribal patients around Kozhikode Medical College, including taking deceased patients home when families cannot afford it. At times, the team travels up to 3,000 km to ensure every family receives dignified support.
At the time of COVID pandemic, and NIPPA, our services were ready to provide support and we received appreciation from the Govt too for the support provided, as nobody was ready to provide support at that time.
However, as demand grew and support from Hridyam reduced, many families returned to our doors. In 2025, Suhrudaya was relaunched to fill this growing gap once again — because a child’s heart cannot wait.
