Suhrudaya

Suhrudaya, meaning "friend of the heart," is a program that embodies the spirit of compassion and healing.

We take pride in sharing the heartwarming success story of Suhrudaya, where we've conducted over 230 life-saving heart surgeries for children in need.

Our Mission

Our mission is clear and heartfelt: to give every child a chance at a healthier and happier life. We firmly believe that no child should be denied the opportunity to live a full life due to a treatable heart condition. Our dedicated team of medical professionals, volunteers, and generous donors have come together to make this mission a reality.

Our Approach
  • Expert Care: We collaborate with highly skilled cardiac surgeons and medical teams to ensure the best possible care for each child.

  • Holistic Support: Suhrudaya doesn't stop at surgery. We provide comprehensive post-operative care and support to children and their families to ensure a smooth and successful recovery.

  • Community Involvement: We actively engage with the community to raise awareness about heart health and the importance of early intervention.

Suhrudaya Program on Temporary Hold

We want to share an important update regarding our Suhrudaya program, which has been instrumental in providing life-saving heart surgeries to children in need.

The State Government of Kerala has recently launched a similar initiative called "Hridyam," aimed at addressing the same noble cause of ensuring access to cardiac care for children. We applaud this initiative and recognize the importance of collaboration in the field of healthcare and philanthropy.

In light of the government's mission and to avoid any duplication of efforts, we have decided to temporarily put our Suhrudaya program on hold. We believe that by aligning our efforts with the government's program, we can ensure a more comprehensive and coordinated approach to providing cardiac care to children across Kerala.

During this period, our team will actively explore opportunities for collaboration with "Hridyam" to contribute our expertise, resources, and support to their mission. We remain committed to our core values of compassion and healing, and we are confident that this decision will ultimately benefit the children and families we aim to serve.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors, volunteers, and supporters who have been instrumental in the success of Suhrudaya over the years. Your unwavering support has made a significant difference in the lives of countless children.

We will keep you updated on any developments and collaborations with "Hridyam" in the coming months. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue supporting initiatives that promote the well-being of children with heart conditions in Kerala.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
